Welcome to the Logan Sweet Foundation. This foundation was created in memory of our son, Logan Sweet, who passed away on May 9th, 2008 from Viral Myocarditis. The foundation's mission is to raise awareness of Viral Myocarditis, and to promote good health and eating habits as well as the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle.

Second AnnualCelebrate Logan: Down By The BayFundraiser. This event will be held at the Bowdoinham waterfront on May 2nd, 2010 from 2-4pm. There will be a music concert put on by Matt Loosigain, dancing, snacks and refreshments, seed planting, face painting an activity table, an auction table, information on Myocarditis and more.
An event the whole family can enjoy. Please bring chairs and blankets to sit on for the concert. If the weather calls for rain, the event will take place at the Town Hall at 13 School Street in Bowdoinham.

Healthy Snack. The Logan sweet Foundation will be providing the entire school apples as a healthy snack for the day. The snack is to help balance out with the Halloween candy that children will be receiving the next day.

First AnnualCelebrate Logan: Moves and GroovesFundraiser. This event will be held at the Bowdoinham Community School recreation field from 3-5pm. There will be music, dancing, face painting, informational booths on Myocarditis and the importance of regular check-ups, booths on exercising, and good cleaning habits, an auction, snacks and refreshments, an activity table, and a special guest - Candace Moose, cofounder of the Myocarditis Foundation and a Myocarditis survivor.
Update - The fundraiser was a HUGE success. Thank you all who participated, helped, volunteered, donated, supported and danced for the 1st Annual Moves and Grooves fundraiser. We raised about $8000 in all. That money will help the Myocarditis Foundation, as well as help spread the importance of living a healthy and active lifestyle. Click HERE to view pictures.
